Secteur industriel Maurice-Duplessis

Québec, Rivière-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles

The industrial area is surroubd by Maurice-Duplessis Boulevard, the Canadian National railway, Lucien-Gendron Avenue and 60th Avenue. Maurice-Duplessis sector differs from other parks by presence of the many vacant spaces, including eight belonging to the City of Montreal. Some of the space is set aside for the construction of a street.Given the size of its lots, the park is intended for small and medium businesses in various fields. There are few large employers in the sector. Indeed, 93% of companies hire less than 50 people. Maurice-Duplessis Boulevard was extended to join the new commuter train station and the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard.
