This industrial park is located far enough from neignborhoods and has no environmental major constraint. It's also located near the high voltage Hydro-Quebec electric network, making Baie-Comeau the place with the lowest electriciy connection fees in the province of Quebec.
TAX CREDIT : The City of Baie-Comeau offers municipal tax credit to new businesses in the Jean-Noel-Tessier industrial park.
The Baie-Comeau port-rail complex includes the federal port (4 berths), the rail facilities (SOPOR), including the transfert center and and the
rail-ferry (COGEMA), the Cargill's exporting grain and oilseed facilities and 6 000 m2 of warehouse space.
